"This place is an older home but it is clean. There is amazing woodwork throughout the house. It is secluded and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked with paper towels. 😀 No paper towels or napkins at any of the places we stayed except this place. I guess I am pretty dependent on my paper towels. "

"The house was perfect. We had our two kids (3 & 5) and my dad with us and the three bedroom house was great. Well furnished, clean, and the host Daniela was amazing. The location took us a minute to find (Waze and Google Maps don’t have accurate directions) but Daniela gave us a video of the route showing where to turn. Once we found it, it was easy. "Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, we felt safe at all times with the gated community with a security officer checking all visitors before entering the premises. The layout of the house was cool and our grown up kids enjoyed the pool and open area of the house. Best part is definitely the location, it is close by to the town and just a bit far enough from the town center to avoid all the noise. Stay here for a great experience in La Fortuna."

"The house is old but kept clean and cozy. It is at a high position on the mountain with a good view of the forest and the ocean. We waked up morning with birds' song and the hummingbirds are not afraid of human at all. The meal prepared by Lilliana is very tasty. Our family enjoyed our stay of 2 nights."

"Incredible views, couldn't have stayed long enough. We woke up before the sun and enjoyed the morning in the Jacuzzi with fresh coffee. The only thing I would recommend is buying groceries before making the drive, so you don't have to leave."

"We enjoyed a short stay at this home. Its in the perfect location for rural experience of Costa Rica, but close enough to jump over to La Fortunas tourist trap. "Part of what made our stay in La Fortuna so special was having Stefano as a host. He was a great wealth of information and helped us to make plans in our three day stay. From restaurants to sites to see to recommendations and insider information, Stefano was the best. While at the property, we felt safe and the venue was clean with many available amenities. "This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting.
