"The room was a little dated and we had a cockroach visit us. MKV is a premiere resort so it was a bit disappointing that the room was so dated. The staff at MKV are amazing and friendly. Castaways is a great place to eat and have cocktails when at the pool or beach! "

The location is perfect for anyone who wants a walkable Tahoe experience in the winter, and the heated pool and hot tub are a must when returning from a day on the mountain. "Awkward bed location (up a ladder)"

"The hotel was beautiful. No complaints except the the breaker around the bed kept popping. They were very responsive and brought up maintenance and an electrician but after 4 hours it popped again. They were never able to fully resolve this during our 3 night stay but they did try. "

"The property was in good location in between Lahaina and the airport. The room was great despite it was not what was showed in the pictures and as listed. It appeared that we were in first floor verses the second floor also there is absolutely no air conditioning just fans. The listing should have at least stated that there wasn’t any or that it had standing floor fans. Overall, the property was great for the price and location. "

"A property just outside the busy downtown. The king suite room was very spacious, with a king sofa bed-not used by us- and two TVs. The pool area is gorgeous as is the hot tub. While they don’t have a front desk, the whole process was smooth. We were disappointed the French restaurant and the bar opened at 5pm. Earlier would have been nice. Overall we highly recommend the Cole!"
