"Let me start by saying how amazing the location of this Inn is! Right on the beach and centrally located in the Outter Banks. It is an older place that does need some updating but it was clean, comfortable beds, and again a fantastic location. The staff were very polite and accommodating. We had our daughter and 2 granddaughters with us and felt very safe. Even the other guests that we met were friendly. If you are looking for a 5 star resort with a very modern update, well then, this isn't the place for you. But if location, safety, friendliness, cleanliness, and comfort are what you want then this Inn is a good choice for you!! "

"We scheduled this trip last minute and had very few choices in our price range. I was skeptical, but decided to book with John Yancey. I am so glad we made this choice! The room was nice and clean....probably the best I have ever slept away from home! It was close to restaurants and of course, a quick walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our trip.....I will definitely stay here again! Thanks! "

"Great hotel with easy access to the beach. Spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay there again. "

"It was a quick getaway with my granddaughters!! We stayed in one of the condos. It was perfect being right on the beach!! Everyone was very nice. The only thing I will add is bring kitchen towels, and blankets for the bed(s). They did have 2 blankets but were thin. We enjoyed our stay and got to see pods of dolphins playing close to shore!"

"Everything was fantastic....price, staff, hot breakfast, bathroom in the room, bed was comfy with 5 pillows, tv worked great, hvac worked flawlessly, room was clean, bathroom was updated, we had first floor so backed up to the room with car, I notice if you had second floor you would have to climb the stairs......"
