We have stayed here before and Shutters is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed! Bedding is top rate and noise from other rooms is muted. Clean pool and hot tub, laundry available, hot breakfast included. Highly recommend.

We always stay at shutters when we’re spending three or four days on the beach. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is ready and always hits the spot!

We had a room on the 2nd floor, in the tower. It was roomy and it felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel room, we loved it! The breakfast was excellent and all of the hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. This was our first time to the OBX and we can't wait to return!
