"This is my second stay at this hotel and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Istanbul, as the value for money that you get in GLK is quite remarkable. It's right in the city touristy centre and places like Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are withon 5 mins walk through streets lined with shops and restaurants. The rooms are very cosy, with great beds and reasonably ok soundproofing - although you still hear other people doors and occasional convos. Buffet breakfast is great, but turkish coffee costs extra. We quite enjoyed the hamam, to the point that we didn't get to use much of the jacuzzi in the room. What made this property stand out for me was the kindness and helpfulness of their staff: they are always there for you, they speak various languages (both English and Russian worked a treat for me) and they are always there to help with any questions, be that parking or bookings. I will definitely stay again when exploring Istanbul."

"The hotel is very conveniently located while also being quiet. Breakfast was delicious and the ladies in charge of it provided great service. The only complaint is the Wi-Fi was not reliable. Had to request whenever it failed (at least twice a day) and the router (in the lobby) had to be rebooted. "
