"Clean Good location"

"I was deciding between staying at Shepard's and Wyndham Grand. I chose Shepard's and could not have been more pleased. Very clean. Very friendly staff (shoutout to Regina at the front desk). Excellent food and drinks. Shepard's was relaxed and laid back. A more personal atmosphere perfect for a getaway. Ended up getting food by the pool four times. Nachos, fish tacos, grilled caesar wrap. sweet potato fries. All were great and reasonably priced. The pool and hot tub were super clean. We watched the sunset from our balcony. The loud music wasn't really an issue. Our sliding door muffled most of the sound. Probably an 8 min walk to most of the bars/restaurants. I expected some compromises when I booked her but really couldn't think of anything that was an issue. Highly recommend. If you are in between booking here and other similarly priced hotels, you should trust me and book here. I am confident Shepard's will meet or surpass your expectations. "

"I had to change part of my reservation around due to flight change from sun country and they were great to work with to find us a room to stay in for the last night and made it so easy to move "

"The room was fairly clean. Really needs major upgrades. The lamps were rusty. Shower and fixtures need replacing bed wasn't too bad. We were here only one night before our flight. They said the shuttle to airport would be running at 6:40. Hope it is. For a one night we will manage. Wouldn't stay longer. Restaurant advertised is not open. "

"Stay here a lot. So close to the airport but in a great area. Walk to restauants, free parking is a big plus. Go to the Florida Bakery (a short walk down Kennedy Blvd) for a real Cuban sandwich. "
