My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "

"We stayed at the Haywood Park Hotel two days before Hurricane Helene's destructive path caused catastrophic damage to lovely Asheville. Our stay was wonderful. Our room (more like an apartment!) was incredible. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was equipped with all the amenities one could desire, and the living area was spacious and nicely furnished. The whimsical touches reflecting the hotel's previous life as a department store made one appreciate the building's history. All the...
