It was comfortable and casual with extra bedding and towels, a washer/dryer, and everything else you'd need for a winter weekend away. We were close enough to Mt. Shasta for easy drives to and from skiing. We'd love to stay here again. "

"2nd trip to Shasta and stayed in the Whitney Cottage again. Everything is so homey and the cottage has everything you will need for a wonderful and comfortable stay. The host is awesome and is very quick to respond if you have a question. There is a wonderful notebook there with information on anything you might want to do in Shasta. The hiking information is particularly comprehensive. I'll definitely be back."
