"Nice hotel, well maintained. We had a good meal in the attached restaurant, The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, beyond what we would normally expect. Hotel is across the street from where busses to Milford Sound pick up passengers - very convenient. Hotel is within walking distance from shopping and the lake, but this involves a fairly long climb or taxi ride to get back to the hotel (I'm 76 and in good condition, so the climb was OK for me other than working up a good sweat). We are happy to recommend this hotel."

"This property was amazing. The views from the large patio were spectacular! I loved the ability to open the huge sliding glass door that was actually the wall that faced Lake Wakatipu. The property was very clean , the bed was very comfortable and we had all the amenities that we needed. The property was also close to town so it was easy to just walk in to town. I would highly recommend this property."

"The suites were immaculate and quiet, along a beautiful walking trail by the lake. While some of the facilities are under renovation, they were transparent about this when I reserved a suite. Despite renovations, it was very quiet and clean. The only concern was a sewer smell in and around the property in the evenings. "
