"Both rooms had big problems. First room, AC didn't work, so Derick (owner) brought in a huge portable AC unit, mounted it on a kitchen chair, vented thru the only window , above the counter, and ran a hose to the shower for the drainage of the unit. Later, TV Roku went out, had no TV with Milton coming. We asked and were moved to the room across the loft. TV worked, had a working AC that leaked water thru the bathroom ceiling . "We stayed during an evacuation from hurricane Milton. It was a little hard to find due to our GPS issue but we were able to navigate on our own. Our first impression was the tranquility of the property. The cottage was very clean & our host had turned on the a/c so it was very comfortable. The property owner came over & made us feel very welcome & we enjoyed meeting his sweet dogs. We were told we had free access to explore the property which is absolutely beautiful.
