"What a great place to stay. We travelled with 2 adults and our 17 & 15 year old kids and everyone loved it, and were sad when it was tying to go. The only thing I would change is we stayed in the Monteverde house and the trees about the main suite hit the roof all night when it was windy, but not a big deal at all! Highly recommend!!"

Also visit the restaurant close by also run by the family for great food located in a beautiful setting. 15 minute drive to Santa Elena is a good trade off for the peace and quite and authentic Costa Rica experience of this place. "We absolutely loved our stay at this home. The location was perfect- it is far, yet close enough, to the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna. The neighborhood was quiet and homey. Plenty of restaurants and markets within walking distance, so many days we didn’t even leave! We absolutely loved the pool. It was so refreshing and we spent HOURS in it a day. We loved just walking around the neighborhood petting dogs, cats, feeding horses, catching fireflies and talking to locals. We were so sad to leave...

Close to everything in town and attractions. We had great communication with Daniela the host, and she arranged great guided tours for us. A truly incredible propety."

"This is a simple and beautiful place where we enjoyed spending a lot of our time at the property. The nature trail, the hummingbirds, the views, the other wildlife and the peace made each day a wonder.In the yard we saw 9 different species of hummingbirds, coatis, white-faced monkeys and other birds and butterflies.
