Cottages in Mole Valley

"Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. "This house was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. We were at a lunch party on Haying Island and we were able to easily drive to Sheffield Park in the light. The parking was so convenient and the cottage was extremely well equipped, not that we needed a washing machine. I would unhesitatingly recommend it. We tried to set off the dishwasher just the once, but the top shelf was attached by elastic bands and so we didn't risk putting anything there. Had we been going to stay longer I would...

"We needed somewhere all on one level for my Father-in-law, who requires a frame to walk with. Everything was easily accessible for him and we loved the beautiful building that we were staying in. Comfy and welcoming. We would definitely return. "

"I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge....

"Nice, clean and comfortable property. Every that you need is supplied. Mobile & WIFI can be a bit patchy due to rural location but not an issue for us. Local area was not good for dog walking due to the wet conditions over last few months and did not want to bring back a mucky dog. Nearby Lewes was a good town with choice of shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. Nearby ‘Rainbow’ pub do an excellent Sunday carvery.
