"The Winchester Hotel and Spa was a great value stay. I stayed one night for a birthday treat to be able to enjoy the spa. The spa facilities are excellent and included in your stay. The gym was surprisingly well kitted out, but the spa was the highlight. A lovely relaxation area, good amount of places to lounge, lovely heated pool, sauna, hottub, steam room and plunge shower. Excellently comfortable and clean and would be great as a spa day too. The rooms are a clean and comfortable. The restaurant for dinner or breakfast didn't really appeal. The hotel was easy enough to find and a short wander from the train station. "

"The hotel is ‘of its day’ in style and furniture but the warm welcome and helpfulness of staff made up for the slightly tired decor. Friendly Resturant staff and excellent tasty breakfast. All in all, with good transport links, near to beach and decent facilities it’s a great place to stay. "

"Comfortable hotel in the town centre. Nice and easy access in to free carpark with plenty of space. A rear entrance directly from the carpark takes you to the foyer and reception. The hotel is an old manor building with a lot of charm. The bedrooms are well equipped and in good condition though in a traditional style. As a family of four, we asked for two extra beds for the kids and we were given two single foldable beds, which were quite comfortable and better than a double sofa bed. There were biscuits, coffee and tea facilities in the room, but no mini fridge or water bottles. Breakfast was included with the room, and though it was quite basic (simple continental and full English), it was adequate for an inclusive package. Probably we would not pay extra for it. Staff were nice and friendly and relaxed. The hotel has several day lounges for guests and a very nice court yard with planting and seating at the rear. All in all, a great place to relax while still being in the town centre. Strongly recommended if you get this room at a good rate."

"On check in we were ugraded which meant AC which was great as the room did get very warm. Room was large and bed was good. All the staff were very nice. We enjoyed the pool which was warm and kid friendly. Didn’t eat at hotel apart from Breakfast which was decent, but only buffet. Option for fresh eggs would have been nice. Nice area and short walk to Durley Chine beach. overall a great experience and would recommend and go back. "
