"When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise. "Although a little compact this apartment had everything we needed for one night stay en route to a cruise holiday. The decor was modern clean and crisp and the property was well insulated away from any noise. It is a two minute walk to Eastgate car park which is the cheapest Car park in Southampton for long-term stays. It’s a £6 Uber ride from the property to Southampton dock so all in all it is a very inexpensive way to visit and stay in Southampton. "
