"This property was the most convenient hotel ive ever stayed at (a direct route from the hotel to LaGuardia, and still simple to get to Broadway). The room was basic, the beds were soft but not too soft. The bathroom was big. The staff was pretty and courteous"

"I selected Freehand for proximity to business meetings and room rate. What an eclectic and fun hotel!! Staff is efficient, professional and helpful. Rooms were minimal but perfect for me. "

"Perfect place if you just want somewhere to drop your stuff, sleep/relax, and shower! Pretty quiet-- they provided earplugs and a sound machine but I didn't have to use either. Note that you'll want to bring shower shoes (showers were clean but communal so that's best practice). It was a little pricey, but for a solo traveler it's the best price you might expect in Manhattan."
