Views of Mt Whitney at your door step and super quiet area. The outdoor bathtub to soak in and enjoy the sunset was one of our favourite parts. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. "

"Stayed at this house to climb for a few days at Alabama Hills, which was like 10 minutes away. Super clean home. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed and futon were comfortable. Bedding was nice and cozy. On a quiet street, especially for a weekend. The owner was so nice and accommodating, even brought a new air mattress over for an extra person, along with an electric blanket to make sure we’d be warm. This will be my first choice for lodging every time I’m in Lone Pine. I highly recommend it. "

"As described. My daughter and I made some amazing memories in Lone Pine. The stay in the bungalow was the icing on the cake. We made it a mile to the summit of Whitney and came back to a warm clean space with all the convinces of our home without the drive."

"The Lonewest is a fabulous property with unobstructed and unbeatable views! The quiet and watching the wildlife was thoroughly enjoyable. We made use of the huge two-person tub right off the deck. Fun hiking very close. The host is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. We did not want to leave! Highly recommend!"

"Fun , creative living space. Very comfortable furnishings, sheets, towels etc. Amazing views!!. Easy to town. Very quiet. Suggestion... Would be nice if knives were sharpened (super, super dull!) and maybe put the welcome instructions & Wifi info on a table top so a little more obvious when entering the house. Took us a while to find on the side of fridge not facing out. Would certainly come again."

"This is not a hotel. It is a small cottage located in a quiet neighborhood that is a 5 minute walk into downtown. Rooms were larger than I expected, and the shower was good size. Well appointed. And you can't beat the view from the front porch of Mt Whitney."
