"The Gun Room was very nicely kitted out. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bedroom was very comfortable and bright. One thing I would say is that the sofa is very small and not very comfortable! There is however a TV in the bedroom for lounging. The outside space is lovely and we had some great weather to enjoy it. We had our dog with us so the garden was great but the road was very busy so for a longer walk we had to go in the car. "

"This small cottage is in a great location, literally a couple of minutes walk into the centre of town, but tucked away in a quiet cobbled side street. Although there is no parking at the cottage, the Little Rodee carpark is about 5 minutes walk away. The cottage was clean and welcoming and had a great quirky charm which we really liked. "We had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room. The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!)."

"Had a fantastic stay at this property, it was very clean and tidy and has been well looked after. The beds were comfortable with spacious rooms. It's in a beautiful location and so so quiet and there is lots to do without having to drive too far. The hot tub was again very clean and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. The owner was lovely and was available if needed. Couldn't fault our stay, we wanted to stay longer!"

"The accommodation was very poor standard. The small bedroom had no electricity except for overhead light. Situation of bed meant no access to bedside table in that room. Really unfit for purpose The place felt grubby. Not enough crockery. No basics left eg milk bread washing up liquid. The upstairs toilet blocked on first day and left a voicemail msge to Gary but no reply. Bathroom needs immediate refurbishment. "Fantastic location next to the canal enjoyed watching boats going past. Nice walks around and other places nearby. Only thing wrong with the discrimination of the property is it says it has a hot tub but it has a bath inside the house and no hot tub outside. We still enjoyed our visit "

"It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs."
