"The Gun Room was very nicely kitted out. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bedroom was very comfortable and bright. One thing I would say is that the sofa is very small and not very comfortable! There is however a TV in the bedroom for lounging. The outside space is lovely and we had some great weather to enjoy it. We had our dog with us so the garden was great but the road was very busy so for a longer walk we had to go in the car. "

"We had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room. The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!)."

"Had a fantastic stay at this property, it was very clean and tidy and has been well looked after. The beds were comfortable with spacious rooms. It's in a beautiful location and so so quiet and there is lots to do without having to drive too far. The hot tub was again very clean and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. The owner was lovely and was available if needed. Couldn't fault our stay, we wanted to stay longer!"

"The accommodation was very poor standard. The small bedroom had no electricity except for overhead light. Situation of bed meant no access to bedside table in that room. Really unfit for purpose The place felt grubby. Not enough crockery. No basics left eg milk bread washing up liquid. The upstairs toilet blocked on first day and left a voicemail msge to Gary but no reply. Bathroom needs immediate refurbishment. As does kitchen and downstairs loo there was no toilet brush or roll holder All...

"A wonderful and spacious stone house with exceptional facilities especially in the kitchen. All the bedrooms has comfortable beddings and with enough room for 8 adults and 4 children. We definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Bala in North Wales for its facilities and location. "
