"The property, rooms and surrounding gardens are just wonderful. Picturesque and very peaceful. The rooms are stunning. Only thing we missed was any guidance, signs etc to point to reception and breakfast area. It's a little search and find. Also there was no coffee or bar service as mentioned as all was closed, so I would recommend to enquire beforehand if you plan to use these facilities. "This small B and B (5 rooms) is very beautiful and the decor is artistic and elegant. So much attention to detail. My bed was so comfortable, and the shower great. I enjoyed sitting the garden when I arrived for a glass of wine and snack. It's about a five minute walk to Santa Maria gate to Centro. Maria, the owner, and Nadia, her assistant, were welcoming and attentive. "

"This place was unique. Walkable to local restaurants so you get to eat like locals, get a gelato , maybe from Argentinos, but homemade! Park in the street. Maria Gli was very communicate with us. Room is clean, cute, safe and quiet sleep! Very good experience for a fam. with kids. I definitely recommend this option for a budget and want to explore “local” more than a typical tourist."

"Like: the room was built on the ancient Amphitheater. It is located in the midst of everything. Dislike: The AC did not work. IT was unplugged. After a day I realized that, but then the remote had no effect in setting temperature, etc. I sweated every evening. The noise outside prevented me from leaving the window open. There was no cleaning service. Only once did someone come to empty the trash basket and removed a used towel. Two tiny soaps and two packets of shampoo. I had to go out and...

"Ideal location in lucca. The host, Debora, was very welcoming and helpful. Nice, spacious room with bathroom. Tea, coffee and snack facilities provided. We had front room which did get some street noise but, otherwise, excellent."

"The hotel was good and the location was excellent, a few minutes away from the tower. I arrived at 1plus pm, however it was closed and had to wait till 3pm to be checked in. The checked in was smooth and the staff was great. It would be great if the reception is open from 1pm to 3pm. The room was big and great, however O only have one complaint, the tv was ridiculously small to my liking. Overall my stay was excellent!"
