"We loved our visit - the house is in such a tranquil spot with loads of space inside and out and the view from the terrace was gorgeous. The house is very traditional and you can tell it's been a well loved family home. The weather was very hot but because of the design of the house it stayed cool inside - we hardly needed to use the air conditioning. "High in the hills and cooler as a result thankfully as we came from Rome where it was 38 degrees. Pool lovely. Setting beautiful. Car vital. Hosts delightful. We’d come back we loved it so much. Food at restaurant around corner is really good value and excellent. We took train to Lucca for the day once which made a nice day out."
