"The Excellent staff, very attentive, efficient, and friendly. Also, excellent breakfast. The only negative thing was that the room did not have air conditioning, which did not allow for a pleasant sleep."

"Nice place, not fancy, clean, good parking. Decent location, you need a car. Pisa has very poor transportation. No uber, good luck getting a taxi."

"Property itself was ultra clean and the staff were amazing. The building is a little dated but perfectly functional. Unfortunately, the drawback of the area is that the beaches are mostly fully reserved for the entire season by Italians from the city and so it is almost impossible to get a place in any of the beaches even or of peak season"

"The property is convenient for visiting Pisa city centre and the tower. The staff at the property were very friendly. The property was clean and so was the pool and pool area. The pool is great, although it does close at 7pm which is typical for Italy, although if you’ve been visiting the city during the day, longer pool opening would be advantageous. The problem with this place is that there’s literally nothing there, there’s a restaurant in the evenings, which I have to say is brilliant....

Hotwater not consistent, the water might turn cold for a moment when you are showering. 3. Parking is in public carpark outside the compound thus you will need to walk in the cold to the house although there are ample space to park in the compound. "I showed up at 7:50pm and no one was there to check us in. The hotel pictures did not match. Pictures are 100% misleading. We ended up leaving and checking into another hotel. "

"Perfect location a couple of minutes walk to Tower of Pisa/ square of miracles. Loved the hotels roof top terrace to watch sunset over Tower and square. Lovely breakfast (fresh warm pastries!) and comfortable room. Check in and out was straight forwards, polite staff. We managed to walk to the airport in about 40 mins. Pisa Centrale station was also easily accessible by walking. Thank you!"

"I had a wonderful weekend in Lucca and I was very happy with San Luca Palace. I work online and for me the quality of wifi is the top importance and unfortunately quite often although the hotel website indicates they have wifi the quality would be very poor and I would not be able to do my work properly and would get anxious about it. Wifi was working very well, staff was helpful and the room was spacious. I look forward to being back to Lucca and staying in San Luca Palace. Thank you! "
