"Older building with a lot of charm and updates. The location was fantastic. It located right next to the train station but not too noisy. There’s actually a passage from the hotel to the platform. So you there in a matter of seconds. The hotel was also close to city bus stops and our tour bus (busy bus) pickup/drop-off spot."

"Great value for money. The location is great, very close to the liverpool 1 Hotel Chocolate. I was worried it would be noisy but it really wasn’t. The free coffee and pastries in the morning was a welcome treat. Room was clean and spacious. "

"The property is under going a massive refurb to the bedrooms although we was very close to the workmen we didn't hear a thing, and the work men where very courteous, thankfully the main building is being left to its very ornate and beautiful surroundings, the breakfast deal is amazing, breakfast was good but the coffee was a bit of a let down but Mackie's is just across the road so no problem, all in all I love staying staff are great."
