It’s unclear if this hotel burned to the ground. Being forced to pay for a room in a disaster area that cannot be used or accessed feels like a corrupt business practice, or sort of like stealing. "

"We loved our stay at the Hyatt Residences on Kaanapali Beach. The rooms and hotel amenities are first class (the pools are the best of the hotels). The view was stunning, waking up to the calm ocean sounds every morning and a breathtaking sunset every evening. The restaurants at the hotel and surrounding area are terrific but if you are staying in these rooms you have the best view in the entire Lahaina area from your hotel lanai. All you need is some light fare and a fine bottle of wine!"
