All the amenities are available to rent at the beach for a cost. The resort are is #1 and Maui Villas has an old Hawaiin feel, not a mega hotel. Great for families and couples like us. The young and coffee bar are relaxing for just sitting and enjoying some quiet time."

"Hale Napili was the most enjoyable experience we have ever had in our many visits to Maui. Our room was overlooking the beautiful ocean and had a large furnished balcony to enhance the view. A clean and spacious room with a full kitchen and high quality outside grills allowed us to cook whatever we wanted while also going out to eat at many outstanding restaurants nearby. "Very nice unit with a layout that served our needs well. A few problems that were not addressed, even though reported. The master bath shower heads did not operate correctly and remained a dribble for showers. My husband says the splitter was broken. There were ants in the laundry room. It would have been nice if the kitchen was better equipped. It was lacking basics and we cook a fair amount. We had to buy items such as cutting board, measuring cups, and a knife that was actually sharp enough...

"We stayed in the ocean front room. Perfect view!!! I loved the hotel. Only downside was that there were no restaurants, bars or gift shop on site. "

"We enjoyed our three day stay. King size bed, grand view of the ocean from the second and third story balconies, home like feel, kitchen, washer, dryer and all the cooking utensils needed. Times grocery store was close and convenient. 3 miles south is where all the resort hotels were location. Hyatt Laua was great. The only thing that could have made it better would have been an air conditioner. Ceiling fans and room fans did help."
