"The host was prompt in replying to messages. We enjoyed the large dining room table. There were 9 of us. We originally had 10 but one was unable to make it. There were no wine glasses, which would have been nice to know ahead of time. The cleaning crew needs to do a better job. There were no top sheets on the beds downstairs and the bathroom towels upstairs were all damp. There wasn’t any body wash or soap in the upstairs shower. Overall, though, we were very happy with our time spent there. "

"We absolutely loved our stay. The home was large but cozy and so well equipped with everything we needed. We made many meals in the kitchen, enjoyed a fire on the outside deck, and even used the kayaks in January! Beds were comfortable and linens were clean and warm. The snacks and coffee were very much appreciated. I hope to come back one day. Thank you for a wonderful family holiday."

"Alex was a great host. He was proactive when he noticed the temp dropping in the house and wanted to get it taken care of ASAP. We liked the temp at 67 so we weren’t concerned but Alex reached out to me directly to make sure we were okay. Beautiful little space. Perfect for my husband and I. It was adorable, clean, had plenty of coffee and options for coffee. The neighbor helps with the trash and was also super friendly. I would absolutely recommend this VRBO, and truly, any VRBO that Alex has....

"The owner was quick to respond and checked on us when the power went out. The alarm system was a bit of an annoyance. It chirped our whole stay, even after we replaced the battery in the smoke detector. To be fair we did not contact the owner with this complaint. We were so busy with funeral services that we just did not have the energy. Also the dishwasher is in need of some attention "

"Well, there are a few things to mention straight off: no washer or dryer onsite (somehow I missed this on the listing, but assumed a home in the suburbs would have it); the tv remote didn’t work - we downloaded the Roku app and that worked, but it should be replaced; the deadbolt on the front door is glitchy; we had some ants in the kitchen; and there are not any full length mirrors. "We were there for 2 nights and it was lovely. The neighborhood was well kept and it felt very safe. It was well equipped with all the basics that we needed. The owner was very receptive and responded in a timely manner. Thank you for sharing your home Danielle!"

"This is a very nice large sunny clean house with tons of space, tons of sunlight, beautiful location and view. It had a fish pond, a chicken coop and a large redwood tree on property. Absolutely beautiful. The one challenge is a 200-300 hike uphill to the house. There is no Parking near the house and if you have anyone with difficulty walking uphill, don't stay there."

"This property is spacious, clean, and comfortable! Plenty or supplies if you want to dine at home. Also excellent proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, and freeways. Communications with the property owner was always prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend this property for anyone who needs a place to stay in the California Bay Area!!"

"The young lady at the front desk seemed miserable and unapproachable. Luis, was great! He worked the breakfast shift on Christmas Eve. The suite I stayed in was very dated. The suite was not cleaned upon my arrival. Arm chair, sofa and coffee table was stained, dirty and old. I had to buy 3 Glade air fresheners to get rid of old smells. I did have a good time here but that front desk worker as I mentioned above was not helpful and needs to be retrained . "
