"Well, there are a few things to mention straight off: no washer or dryer onsite (somehow I missed this on the listing, but assumed a home in the suburbs would have it); the tv remote didn’t work - we downloaded the Roku app and that worked, but it should be replaced; the deadbolt on the front door is glitchy; we had some ants in the kitchen; and there are not any full length mirrors. "Alex was a great host. He was proactive when he noticed the temp dropping in the house and wanted to get it taken care of ASAP. We liked the temp at 67 so we weren’t concerned but Alex reached out to me directly to make sure we were okay. Beautiful little space. Perfect for my husband and I. It was adorable, clean, had plenty of coffee and options for coffee. The neighbor helps with the trash and was also super friendly. "Easy to check in and check out. The bar area was adorable and really made it feel like vacation. Great backyard that’s shared with the renters upstairs. We actually ended up making friends with the visitors upstairs and hanging with them for a bit. Great part of oakland that’s quiet but close to a lot of fun spots if you want to explore. Super clean. Easy street parking. Communication with owner was great as well. Definitely recommend."
