"The accommodations immaculate, the services gracious and the place serene. On is immediately impressed by the plants, pruned and encouraged to grow in all the exterior spaces of this wonderful hotel so that one is always moving about and thru a carefully art directed jungle. Even getting to our ground floor room, to its marble terrace with it's contemporary iron-crafted wing chairs was an adventure. There's a little pool, a kind of conceptual cenote that's charming. Most of all, the staff is gracious and eager to assist and provide comfort, towels for the pool, beverages, a wonderful breakfast. It's a small well-maintained hotel. Located in the outskirts of town, one can easily get to shopping and restaurants either walking or by taxi. There's a superb French-inspired bakery just two blocks away. We felt safe in the neighborhood, which like most of Tulum town is undergoing aggressive development, but this hotel stands alone as a really nice establishment in which to stay and see this part of Mexico."

"This hotel/hostel was fantastic… I stayed in the Beehive and was very happy with the accommodations, yoga class, restaurant, pools, art walk, natural surroundings and overall comfort. I rented a bike and rode to beach which allowed me to bypass traffic. I wish I had done more research on transportation from airport… The bus would have worked out fine"
