"I can’t say enough great things about my 6 days at Hotel Milam. I stayed in one of the private residences with friends. It was the perfect combination of privacy and top notch attentiveness from the wonderful staff. The rooms and grounds were very clean. The food was wonderful. We rarely felt like leaving the hotel. The vibe is serene and not crowded. I wouldn’t suggest it if you are looking for a loud party scene. It is a bit off the beaten path so taxis are a must. If you are looking to relax, eat great food, enjoy the spa, and appreciate an attentive staff then you won’t regret staying here. "

"Wonderful resort with great staff and not overcrowded. The morning Buffett is delicious with varied choices of Mexican and American foods, if not so adventurous. The staff is friendly and have that warm welcoming Mexican ‘bienvenido a nuestra casa’ attitude. The beach is quiet and very private. The Conrad has great beautifully landscaped walking paths. If you’re lucky you might see the local wildlife. Never a problem with the AC or WiFi. If you need tv viewing there’s plenty of options. I recommend the outdoor beach eating palapas, especially ‘El Chiringuito’. I recommend hiring a tour guide/driver like Juan Santos to take you to the local archeological sights. You need nerves of steel if you want to drive against the local drivers. They have their own road rules. My family and I went to celebrate our birthdays in late Jan-Feb. I don’t want to stay in hot uncomfortable rooms or have mosquitos bothering me. The rooms are spacious and lovely. Don’t overpay for cabs. The concierge will help you arrange rides into Tulúm. The property is sublime with nothing lacking. Only minus for us is dinner portions are small and pricey. I can’t wait till my next visit. "
