"Property is well maintained. Beds are not queen size but are full, my husband and are a bit big so that was a disappointment for us, and they are firm mattresses. The property is really close to Yal Ku Lagoon, maybe 15 minutes walking. There are 2 close restaurants and one small store nearby. Best way to get around just in that specific area is golf cart or bikes (if you didn’t rent a car) . We came after hours so I had to ask how to get in, on same day we arrived I was told we had no central air in the common areas, but the rooms had their own air conditioning so we were ok with that. Once central air is on it smells like meldew, so left it off. We also had no hot water the first night and took cold showers. We then were told the water heater wasn’t turned on. The maintenance man turned it on the next day but it turned off again and I messaged them and was told how to turn it on ourselves, then come to find out the number I was messaging the first 2 days, the lady tells me she doesn’t work for the property anymore and gives me another person to contact, and come to find out this person lives in one of the condos there, so I could have gone upstairs the first night and told them about the hot water had I known. The third night the shower knob got stuck for the hot water and wouldn’t turn off, so now that we had the right contact the guy came and fixed it for us that night. WiFi only works in the living room (but we aren’t there for WiFi so it was ok). "

"My husband and I enjoyed our mini vacation in Akumal. It was our first time in Akumal and we found exactly what we were looking for. A nice place to relax and recharge. The place is very clean, full of light and the view is just amazing. "

"Perfect location! First floor with patio opening onto the beach. Walk to Yal Ku Lagoon, Akumal beach, coffee shop across the street and restaurants. We snorkeled in Cozumel, Sian Kaan and Yal Ku but the best snorkeling was in the bay right outside the condo (about 100 yards out).Plenty of space in the condo. Two large bedrooms, two large baths with sizable kitchen and living area. Beautiful furnished deck with lounge chairs all on the beach. Daily maid and towel service was very nice! La Lunita is a very good restaurant on property, we had four dinners there across the week; 10% discount if staying on the property.We did day excursions to Aktun Chen, Coba, Sian Kaan, and Yal Ku lagoon - highly recommend all. Coba ruins are fascinating!"

"We have been going down to Akumal since the late 90's with owners of like business in the US. In the past we have rented several condos in half moon bay. This is the first time we have rented a large facility. It was perfect for all of us. We had 3 father and sons. So they were able to stay in the same rooms. The 13 bedrooms was perfect. Felipe was a great host. The instructions of getting from the airport to Villa Bellamar was great for the few that had never been to Akumal before. The chef Antonio Sosa and his team did a great job. The meals were great. Letting them do the shopping for food and drinks was a time saver for us. We had all of our meals in house except one lunch at Lo-ha. That was for old time sake. We would have our meetings at Lo-ha in the past. The large table in Villa Bellamar was great for the meetings. Having a place like this, we got more done than ever before. Please thank the entire staff for us. They made this effortless for us. Thank you,"
