"Nice stay"

"The room was clean pleasant, if just a bit tight for 5 people. Two of the kids liked the experience of sleeping on the tatami mats. Having the laundry machine in our unit was a life saver. The only feedback for the hotel is that the toilet gave off a strange smell the entire stay. I think it was because the tank needed to be cleaned. "

"The hotel is around 15-20 min walk from the main area of Kyoto for food and shopping. It has a few local eats that are popular close by as well. It’s around 10 min away from this local bakery that has a best shrimp cutler bread that was very very good we had it 3 days in a roll. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Only down side is any closest convenient store is maybe around 5 min walk, which is not as close as some of the property I have stayed at Japan where convenient store is usually...

"It was a great option to stay and explore Kyoto. There are metro stops fairly close that get you into the town center in 20-30 mins. The rooms were very clean apart from a few corners. There were coin washers available to use for 400 yen, but they only had one short cycle available. The only negative point is that the images on Expedia and Google made the rooms look a lot more modern than they were. "I had never seen a hotel with all 10/10 reviews before, so we stayed there to see for ourselves. It's no lie, the place was wonderful. The staff really make it special - they are lovely, friendly, helpful, engaging. We stayed there for a long stretch, and it was our favorite hotel in Japan by far. We were a family of four and opted to book two rooms. We were very comfortable, enjoyed the breakfasts and free drinks in the afternoon. We were able to do laundry in our rooms, too.
