"Start with the positive: Great location to beach, bike rental shops, restaurants, etc. Rooms are clean and albeit a bit dated you’re not buying the room to be your forever home. The staff are helpful. Now the negative: two nights of my staff were almost sleepless due to drunk girls slamming doors, swearing, running up and down the halls like toddlers and having zero regard for others. "This is a self service property which is fine as long as you are prepared for it (towels etc are in your room but if you would like restock or extras there is a station on the floor with supplies). Our toilet wasn’t working when we initially arrived but the hotel staff were very responsive and fixed the issue within minutes of us calling. The hotel was clean and located in a fun neighborhood with lots of amazing restaurants within walking distance. "

"This property is within walking distance to the beach, food, options, bars, and nightclubs. I love the overall ambience of this hotel. It has a the Art Deco look. The patio area has a swimming pool and a lot of tables and chairs to relax outside. My room was very clean and spacious. You have the choice to pay for daily room cleaning, or not. The valet parking was a convenience for my car rental being that parking in that area would have been a challenge otherwise. The staff was very friendly and there is always somebody at the front desk 24 hours a day. This will definitely be my go to Hotel when I return to Miami. "

"The property was a great stay. Mecca took great care of us during our stay. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable of different places in the area. They were able to recommend dinning options. Overall, I slept comfortably and everything was in walking distance including south beach:)"
