The staff could not have been more helpful or polite, the location was excellent for exploring the back streets of Kyoto, and the room itself was perfect for our family of three to have a comfortable space with thoughtful details throughout. "Very nice traditional house. Very clean. The host is very friendly and accommodating. However this house is best suited for 4 people or less, not for 6 people nor people that has problem going up steep stairs as the two bedrooms are upstairs. Also, with only 1 shower it is not convenient for 6 people that wanted to shower. The other two people had to find another place to stay since it was super cramped."
