"Great little property in Kyoto. It was able to fit our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers) relatively comfortably. There is additional bedding provided that can make 2 more beds on the ground if needed. The location is convenient to a couple of nearby (less than 5 minute walk) bus stations. We took an uber to the bamboo forest and it was a little over 20 minutes. There is a ridiculously cute breakfast place across the street, but be prepared to wait a long time. "The hotel is around 15-20 min walk from the main area of Kyoto for food and shopping. It has a few local eats that are popular close by as well. It’s around 10 min away from this local bakery that has a best shrimp cutler bread that was very very good we had it 3 days in a roll. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Only down side is any closest convenient store is maybe around 5 min walk, which is not as close as some of the property I have stayed at Japan where convenient store is usually...

"I stayed here with a group of friends wile visiting Japan for my birthday and this was one of my favorite places! The staff is incredible and the space felt like a home. We were all able to comfortably sleep and unwind in the space in between our adventures. They offer hot tea and sake along with toiletries downstairs. I will definitely keep this place on my list for when I return to Kyoto! "

This place is in a quieter neighborhood so definitely count on a lot of walking or using the bus to get around (the bus is very convenient and you can use your Suica card, just note that it's a flat rate of 230 regardless of how far you go). "Very new and modern hotel. Firm comfortable beds, very nice bathroom, shower and soaking tub. Spacious room with lots of little extras. Great climate control. Fabulous Onsen, spotless. Several new restaurants on the street level inside the building. Great value when booked on the app here."

Lovely stay and well cared for in Kyoto

"Stayed here for 5 nights with my adult children during cherry blossom season. We were so impressed with the hotel and its staff we changed our plans to travel to Osaka, and instead extended our stay in Kyoto two more nights. The hotel is centrally located near great shopping, restaurants, sites, and transportation. The staff is so kind and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and beds are luxuriously comfortable after a day of seeing beautiful Kyoto. Breakfast buffet is delicious and served in a beautiful room. I only wish the hotel bar was open in the evening so we could linger longer, but there are plenty of bars nearby."

"Excellent hotel in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. A stone's throw away from the Umekoji train station and a few minute walk from bus stops. The Family Mart downstairs is very convenient. Room is very spacious for a family of 4. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff was very nice and attentive. Onsen was clean and a good first experience for the kids. Facilities are clean and well kept. Would definitely stay here again. "
