"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "

"Guest house Bon, is a great place to stay, but if you are tall it is a bit cramped, it wasn't uncommon to hit you head on the roof, the place was very clean and Bon was very accommodating,he was the best part of the trip"

The staff could not have been more helpful or polite, the location was excellent for exploring the back streets of Kyoto, and the room itself was perfect for our family of three to have a comfortable space with thoughtful details throughout. Such a nice, intimate hotel - cannot imagine a better place for us to have started our trip in Kyoto. Thanks to the team at Tomoya for a memorable visit!"

"The guesthouse is quite nice, the dorm I stayed in is just 4 bunks, which is a good thing when staying is guesthouses. The showers were very clean for a shared situations. The location is in a charming district near Kyoto university. It can get a little loud at night with the university students drinking in the area, but that wasn’t really a problem if you have earplugs. "An exceptional stay from start to finish. Gracious hospitality, a true time capsule with updates in all the right places. The japanese breakfast every day was truly memorable, and the coffee shop on the property was beautiful as well. I could not recommend more, 10/10 stay, worth the price! "The staff are very nice and friendly. The place is very clean. The buffet breakfast is very delicious. They have a coffee machine in the lobby from which you can get coffee latte, matcha latte, and etc for free at anytime. The onset is a wonderful. I love this place❤️❤️❤️"

"This property was amazing, from the staff assistance at check in until we departed. In previous review's some people spoke of the distance between the 2 towers like there was a huge highway between them lol, this is not the case. The markets are also at your doorstep. Will definitely stay here again."
