"Very nice hotel but the street it is on is in very bad shape. From pot holes to sketchy looking people, it made us feel very uneasy walking around. Overall we had a great experience at the hotel but it did feel over priced. Not sure we would go back. "

"Celebrated our baby moon at Sivana. Staff were very kind and sweet and we enjoyed seeing the dog & cats daily. This hotel is more rustic than others nearby. Water turned off one day for a few hours, AC is low and available only at night, and our room frequently got bugs. However, we are in the jungle and we appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was. We also love when breakfast is included. "

"My stay at Libelula was truly wonderful! The hotel is located in the most pristine part of the Tulum beach, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the food is excellent, and the rooms are beautiful. A real gem of a place, highly recommend ! "

"very clean. beautiful views. quiet as it’s set further away down tulum party beach zone. free beach access through ether but minimum $30 usd min spend to use beds/pool etc. didn’t use these and chose to seek out more lively beach clubs."

"We went in the off season and most everything on the site was not usable. However, Elizabeth is great. This place has great potential for a big party. Would like to see this place during peak tourism season."

"As describe. Clean, cozy, comfortable space well laid out end equipped. Car and small about of grocery’s would be a must as the is not much around this stretch of highway. Stayed for 2 nights will attending a concert at zamna. Would def book again."

"I loved everything about this place! If you are looking for a legit eco lodge experience, this is the place. It’s just far enough from all the hustle and bustle of Tulum. Nestled in the mangrove jungle, surrounded by exotic fauna and wildlife. The grounds are stunning and well kept and the lodge was stocked with every amenity one could think of. We will definitely return to this hidden paradise. "

"We stayed in the Lirio Room. Though the room is surrrounded by palm trees, the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. All paths are sand, and lit up at night. The beach was quiet, not busy, and we did not have trouble locating a tent and beds to use on the beach. There are many vendors but they are not pushy. This is located in the southern hotel zone of Tulum. The most inexpensive restaurants were about $15 American for 1 dish, most average about $25 American per dish. Many vegan options. There is shopping within 5 minutes walk. The shopping is mostly clothing and accessories stores, these stores are "higher end" boutiques with unique bohemian style clothing. Tattoo shops, and dance clubs are close by too. The hotel bathrooms ask that you do not flush toilet paper, or toilets clog. "

Hotel Shibari Tulum - Restaurant & Cenote Club

"Beautiful hotel. Room could have been cleaner. There were stray hairs (from multiple ppl) on the rug, in the shower, by the pool. Floor felt gritty so i don't think they are swept/vacuumed regularly- I just wore the provided slippers and was ok. But the room was spacious and comfortable with functioning AC, the plunge pool also functioned well. Had to request the outdoor lamps be fixed, and they were. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I rented a Bali Bed but got rained out after only an hour and it wasnt usable the rest of the day- I was approached the next day at breakfast where they offered to set it up again for me since the weather was better. No hassle! Appreciated the complimentary bottle of prosecco and cake left in my room for my birthday too. Restaurant on site was GREAT. Must get the shrimp taco! Hotel is walkable to other great dining options and little boutiques- its right on the strip, but with great security- felt safe on and off property ad a solo female traveler. Highly recommended!"

"the staff was AMAZING i can not rave about the them enough. The property is EXACTLY as pictured, I don't think I have ever seen a more serene and beautiful place. there is construction nearby but it is not that bothersome. The pools, food and cleaning were amazing. the gym and yoga studio were some of my favourites. It is important to know this is in the jungle, so getting to and from places can be a bit expensive but there are taxi's you can take for pretty good day rates. While he does not work with the hotel I would recommend a lovely gentleman named Adrian who made transportation to the ruins, beaches, and party spots accessible and easy. You can contact him on whatsapp and tell him Renata sent you! 52 984 188 3849. overall, siwa and tulum is awesome. I will be back! "

"My BF and I stayed at Bardo for 5 nights and really enjoyed the chill vibes and the chill music that played in the central pool/bar/restaurant area. The restaurant and bar offerings were very good though quite pricey - I was surprised to pay NYC prices for food and beverages but this was the case at all of the upscale restaurants we went to down by the beach. The spa was also really lovely - we did a couples massage and it was wonderful! Our room was spacious and felt very private. No issues with A/C as some may have mentioned in other reviews. We rented a car at the airport so were able to explore. The concierge was very helpful with suggesting a low-key, no minimum beach club so definitely ask for help on what you're looking to do!"
