"En general estoy muy satisfecha con mi estancia en este hotel, sólo quiero dar mi opinión sobre la comida en el restaurante Colores y es que es malísima, tanto el desayuno como la cena, la comida es mala, sin sabor, sin variedad. El restaurante de especialidad Oyster me encantó y me arrepentí de no haber reservado otra noche ahí... la comida es muy buena, la vista inmejorable, la atención excelente; quedé encantada también con la cafetería, los postres y latte's que sirven buenísimo, la comida...

"Upon arrival you are greeted with smiles and helpful staff to gather luggage and help you to check you in. English speaking friendly staff in the front of the hotel. Unfortunately you are then inundated with staff required to offer you specials and deals they offer through the hotel, and do not take “no” for an answer easily. Throughout the rest of your stay anytime you walk through the front to the elevator to get to your room, you will be offered deals and promotions. This gets very tiresome...

"The property is unique in that there are several different levels and different room types. The decor is very interesting with lots of plants and statues and two talkative parrots. We were in a top floor room with two beds and a fabulous view. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning. The location to walk along the malecon to town was convenient and offered us the opportunity to walk to several different restaurants. "20 years ago, this property would have been spectacular. However, today is is very run down. Our unit had sewer smells each morning, the power plugs didn’t work, many light switches were broken, the safe didn’t work and our towels were frayed and worn. Worst part, we had pre-paid and couldn’t change or leave early. Will never go back!!!!!! "

"We loved our stay at the Azul Ixtapa Grande! It was so quiet when we were in our room and the view from our room was incredible. The fine dining restaurants were great and there was good food at the general buffet. The staff...everyone and everywhere....were excellent, so attentive and ready to serve! Make sure you tip frequently because they deserve it! "
