"We loved our stay at Las Brisas!! Was truely a memory we will cherish always. I'm so glad I booked this resort. I almost didnt because a few of the reviews... It is such a beautiful, romantic property and the food was great. Other reviews may say the food was adequate or lacking, but they are being over critical because you absolutely have so many options and everything is so fresh. Ceviche daily was my plan and it was amazing enjoying two variations. We had a hiccup with our room and they promptly switched us to another. The staff go above and beyond. The excursions pick you up at the resort so there is no worry there. We took a taxi to & from Zihua and had an incredible day there as well. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!"

"This is our third stay over about twenty years at Aura del Mar. This place is heaven. The staff is excellent; the grounds are stunning. If you love Mexican art/architecture/colors, this place is for you. The rooms all face the sea and the views are magical. The staff hooks you up with reservations at the good restaurants, and there’s a taxi stand at the bottom of the hill so taxies are there within 2-3 minutes, ready to whisk you around the bay. The beach is calm and the sand is lovely. We usually go to Sayulita, which we’ve loved for many years, but now stay away during Christmas and Spring break because it’s packed. Zihuatenejo beach is super uncrowded, even on Spring break week. Give this place a try—if you like old school Mexican charm, you won’t be disappointed. "
