"What a wonderful hotel! I can’t imagine a better place for our family to spend a week. We loved the views from the restaurants and pools, and especially from our room (gorgeous vistas over the jungle and monkeys swinging in a tree just off our balcony.) Our room was beautiful and so comfortable and well appointed. Staff is amazing. We enjoyed the beach below the hotel, the jungle walk, the yoga studio and the bird walk. We also drove to area beaches and restaurants- but were always happy to return to our oasis on the hilltop! I would return in a heartbeat. "

"What a lovely place! Wonderful staff, great atmosphere, amazing breakfast and food. Short walk path through mangroves to beach. Surf place with lessons or rentals directly onsite. The rooms are much better than they look online with fridge, which was great for keeping a few drinks as prices at the bar were high…"

"Tierra Magnifica is truly a perfect getaway! We felt taken care of, comfortable, and looked after from the moment we arrived. The staff is the friendliest of any hotel we experienced! Highlights included the beautiful room with an extremely comfortable king bed, shower with a jungle and ocean view out the large window, daily complimentary morning yoga, and a delicious included breakfast! We had dinner 3 nights out of five at the restaurant because the food and cocktails were absolutely delicious! Can’t recommend this stay in Nosara enough. Thanks for a perfect vacation, we can’t wait to return!"

"I love boutique hotels and Leyenda is no exception. The grounds are quite beautiful. They greeted us with a welcome drink! We stayed for 3 nights total, family of 5. We had the superior 2 bedroom and the room was good but we did add an extra room after our first night for more space and another bathroom (my fault for thinking the 3 beds/1 bath would be sufficient with two teens). We enjoyed the big pool! Wished it was a bit cooler to be a refresh from the heat, or that a part of the pool had some shade (never thought I’d say that!) We ate 3 dinners here and each dinner was AMAZING! I can not recommend their dinners enough. Warning: the portions are HUGE and very shareable. Unfortunately, the complimentary breakfast buffet was not as good as their dinner. However, the made to order cappuccinos were lovely. We took the shuttle to the beach one day and I highly recommend Playa Carillo as it was the best beach we visited in Costa Rica. Just stunning! The next day we drove our rental car to the beach and back. Overall, I would return here again. For the price, the location and amenities are a great deal. PS. The Asiatic restaurant is not open, which we were looking forward to. Luckily that main restaurant had a large variety and incredible food."

"We had a wonderful time at the property. We traveled with two families, each family had a three year-old and a five month old baby. The property was perfect for us. We had so much fun playing in the pool with the toddlers, and there were all of the accommodations that we needed to feel comfortable and safe with the babies. The kitchen was completely stocked and we were able to do all of the cooking we needed. We loved the pizza oven and had a really fun pizza night as well. All the communication with the property management team and the owner was wonderful. The house is beautiful, has a ton of room and is really close to the town and all of the beaches. The house was a great place to just spend the day if we wanted a relaxing day. It also was so easily accessible to all of the other areas. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!! We loved the property. "
