"I often stay at The Vermont and have always had a good experience. On this occassion, Daniel (don't think iv seen him before) at Reception was amazing. We had a very early start and were tired from our journey. Daniel swifty took care of our bags and bought us some coffee. Helped us with suggestions for Brunch places. Overall, Daniel was very kind, helpful and has amazing front of house presence. "

"Staying for access to university visit. Twin room was basic but very clean. Room was a bit cold but that may have been me being a bit under the weather. Bathroom was small but well formed. No toilet brush was odd but otherwise fine. Walls are paper thin. Quiet conversations are easily audible. Restaurant good. Breakfast was excellent. Excellent value for money "

"My go to for the north east when on business, good sized rooms , easy check in/out. Food in the pub part great value and better than the usual fair you get at a hotel pub Would recommend both for business and personal use "
