The property was very clean. The rooms were Nice and quiet. Staff were very friendly from receptionist to bar staff. I would definitely return and recommend hotel to anyone.

We couldn’t make it to the Holiday Inn, Sunderland as our flight from Belfast was cancelled due to Storm Eowyn. Unfortunately the insurance that Expedia sold me has proved worthless as X Cover have refused to refund our stay, despite clear and unequivocal evidence provided that our flights were cancelled by the airline. Over £350 down the tubes!!!

Loved it lots of bars restaurants and Shops so many people underestimate just how good Sunderland is and five minutes drive away are the most wonderful beaches. Yes will definitely come back to this wonderful Hotel:

Great hotel
Hotel was very clean from reception throughout to the room itself. Bed was very comfortable, possibly the best i have ever slept in. Had a lovely peaceful sleep. Staff went above and beyond to make the stay the best. Breakfast was hot and plenty to chose from. Right in the town centre so close to all amenities.

Great stay poor breakfast
Beautiful hotel, spacious room with huge shower. Lovely friendly staff. Lost a star for a poor breakfast unfortunately. Orange juice was definitely off - tasted sour. The of the cold juice canisters looked very dirty inside I think maybe the orange juice is topped up with fresh and the older juice still in is going off and sour as it was a cloudy colour too. I asked for some fried eggs with the yolk well done and they were inedible - all crispy mush. The bacon and sausages were not very well done and things just weren’t replenished quickly enough so that you could have everything together hot. The hotel and staff are fabulous though
