"A lovely week with family. We were accommodated by having 3 rooms in the same building (not promised) and enjoyed most of the amenities. The daily room cleaning was excellent. The wait staff in the buffets were fabulous - especially Ramone in evenings at The Park. The variety of food at the buffet made catering for a range of dietary needs simple. The transportation from and to hotel felt very safe as the Amstar staff was always available at the hotel. The resort staff was amazing. "The staff was excellent and extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Staff was prompt in completing requests and truly made our stay enjoyable. Property was beautiful and spacious. I highly recommend the spa so many options to choose from and it is truly a serene and relaxing, beautiful atmosphere. "

"We had good stay at Dreams Tulum Mexico. The resort is good but not extraordinary . I would expect a little more for the price we paid. The grounds are beautiful but the rooms are a little dated. There are not enough restaurants and during are stay half were closed. I must say service was good the staff are great no complaints there. My partner and I stayed for 6 days and had an amazing experience, this was our first trip to Mexico as a couple and the wonderful staff at the Sian Kaan made it very special. "Hotel is very nice, rooms are beautiful. Food is very limited, and some of the restaurants skew toward avant garde. Def review the menus before deciding. Staff was friendly and attentive with a few missed service opportunities. I tend to hold Conrad and Waldorf to a higher standard being top tier Hilton properties. "The beach was beautiful. All of the staff were friendly especially Quetzabel, the hostess at Palapa and Aurelio, our favorite bartender. The property and rooms were clean though the rooms were lacking some amenities.The food was hit or miss like most resorts. Only two bars were open late. All in all a good value. We would return."

"We spent four days at Barcelo Maya Riviera. The resort has an upscale feel to it, it’s clean, and is absolutely stunning. The staff goes above and beyond to test their guests with a 5 star experience. We will certainly be back. The facilities at the other Barcelo resorts are accessible to you, but to be honest, we preferred staying at the AO as the restaurants were better and the resort was quieter. We loved our stay here. "First time at EDSS. We did enjoy the large rooms and liked the idea of the swim out suites. In reality, the swim outs that are elevated are cold and unused. The pools are not heated, not just the swim outs but the main pool. The pools are also heavily shaded which might be lovely in warm months but the I couldn’t even bring myself to do more than dip a toe in December. Each morning we made our way to the Palms side of Seaside Suites and preferred the ocean temperatures for swimming and relaxing....

Mi Casa Del Mar A6 - Captivating Sea Views from Terrace, Eco-Friendly - No A/C

Lovely ocean property

"We loved our stay at Mi Casa del Mar. We did arrive a little early and couldn't find someone initially, but not too long later he found us. The property is exactly as pictured, the giant windows and the ocean view are breathtaking. We were there in November and the temperatures were perfect, there are fans in each room and a breeze off the ocean. It was a perfect location for us and 2 kids, though expect about a 5-10 minute walk in either direction for restaurants, the general store, or sandy beach. We had a rental car and had no problems parking at the condo, and using it to go to Yal-Ku lagoon or the Monkey Sanctuary or Tulum. Highly recommend the place and the host, we hope to return another time in the future!"

Bahia Principe Grand Tulum - All Inclusive

"Our first time vacation in Tulum, Mexico. Was really excited about it but it didn't meet the expectations. The hotel is in a remote location and there was to transportation out of hotel to the Tulum city or surrounding areas! You either have to have a rental car or taxi! I was so surprised that a 5 star hotel didn't have airport pickup in their all inclusive packages! Had to pay almost $200 extra to go to hotel and back in airport. Hotel facilities was ok. Junior suit should have slippers to use in the room but there wasn't any! Bathtub and sinks Water wouldn't clear fast. Villas are spread out too far. Had to walk 10 mins from the room to lobby and buffet areas every meal time! There were carts/ trains available with a wait. Food options was ok but full of pork!! It was just disgusting that they would put pork with chicken and beef without any label on which is what!! Breakfast had minimum varieties mostly eggs everywhere! Instead of giving that much alcoholic drinks for free, they could've given us fresh coconuts! Instead they were selling coconuts for $800 pesos each!! All inclusive option didn't include all the restaurants within the Grand Tulum hotel area which i didn't know, otherwise i could've booked in Luxury Akumal or Sian kan! Grand Tulum had better reviews online. Anyway..overall an average experience. Might look for othet hotel options next year. "

Mi Casa Del Mar B4 - Unwind & rejuvenate in the natural beauty of the Caribbean

Beautiful property great location

"Loved our stay here. This is our 4th visit to Akumal and my favorite condo so far. Location was great because it was a ten minute walk La Buena Vida and Turtle Bay Cafe. Owner was super great to work with. Plenty of space for everyone. I think there were only 8 units here, so not crowded and lots of privacy. Would definitely stay again."
