"I chose this place because of the positive reviews but that was not my experience. The place does look like the pics and it's clean BUT there's also a very strong mildew odor. There were no screens in the windows so that I could air the place out. The air conditioning was the only thing abating the mildew and so I put an all the warm clothes in my bag and got through one night. I had to lose money and book another room or my Barbados vacation would have been a bust. "

"Wow!! We had an amazing week at The Soco. The hospitality, the staff, the food was amazing. Each room had a sea view and is equipped for all you need on an AI stay. The location was ideal for us, the hotel is at the of the boardwalk so you could chose to either drink and eat at the hotel or visit one of the bars and restaurants along the front. Which means you can have a quiet or louder night depending on your mood. The food at the hotel was excellent so we had no issues eating most meals at...

Beautiful Views and Even Better Hospitality

"I had a very pleasant stay at South Gap Hotel and would highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning ocean view. The pool and pool deck had a really cool vibe—perfect for relaxing. The only downside was the slow service at the restaurant. However, that was easily overlooked thanks to Tia at the front desk. Her customer service was exceptional—she was friendly, helpful, and an absolute joy to talk to. She truly made the experience memorable. Overall, it was a great stay, and I can definitely see myself coming back."
