The staff was wonderful and did everything to make my short stay (due to a canceled flight) comfortable. I had a nice dinner and welcome drink at the restaurant. If i had more time tgere, I am sure that iwould have enjoyed the pool and beach.

It’s very quiet and romantic. The staff is incredibly friendly. Rooms are nice (not luxury like the high end ones in Jamaica but still nice) and who stays in the room that much anyway. View is of the Caribbean. The best part is certainly the staff.

Just wow! My family enjoyed the stay here. We were picked up by our driver who gave us a great experience as well. We were checked in by Dhaggio and he was so helpful and made sure the check in went smooth and didn't take long. He helped us daily to find restaurants to go to since we wanted to experience Barbados outside of the hotel. He organized our drop offs and pickups which was helpful. My visit was for my Birthday and family trip and my husband worked with Whitley to organize my Birthday surprise and it was one of the best surprises by far. The details to my favorite cake, sweet wine, the Birthday cards (also signed by Fabian and the rest of the staff) and the decor was A . Whitley also helped us get the real Barbados experience and made my family and myself feel like family. Thank you South Point Hotel Staff for a great trip and wonderful experience and we will definitely be back.

If you're looking to disconnect and truly vacate, this is the place to be. The hotel is fairly new, but its a boutique hotel with parking, a full restaurant and basically everything thats advertised. The con is the location, it's not walking distance to any of the local bars or night life. While this wasn't necessity a con for me because I enjoy boutique hotels with most amenities and access to the beach, for others it may be boring. Overall the staff is kind and truly amazing. Safe to say I'll be back.

The facility is very comfortable, and the staff is super friendly. My only big concern is that the hotel does not have backup power. We experienced the electricity cut off in our room, and it took a while to restore it.

We chose this place just for an overnight stay, as we had a cruise to catch the following day. At first, the reception was warm, but the lady there, had no idea of what she was doing, forever asking the one beside her what to do. Then we were taken to our room. Cheap decoration . It smelt of mold everywhere, but the pillows and bathroom were unbearable. Dinner at Driftwood was very good and tasty, but it couldn’t be charged to the room. They came knocking at the door late in the evening with the machine in hand to pay. The breakfast menu ran out of continental breakfast at 9:30 AM (really?). Fortunately, a kind server was able to get some toast and coffee for us. The man at reception in the morning, was extremely unpleasant and treated us rudely. I’m surprised this hotel is rated 4.5* stars. It’s more like 2* stars. The bathroom counter was cracked, the shampoo and bath gel shelf had fallen out from the shower wall and was just left on the counter, and 1 lamp was burnt out! No phone in the room, so if we wanted anything, we had to walk up and down two flights of stairs, every time. No normal TV, just Netflix, so you can’t watch the news channels, only movies. Nearby beach is not an option. I would never recommend this place.

OMG where do I start. Outside of it being the best hotel in the area for the money, the staff is amazing. The hotel has thee best curb appeal along with everything you need for peace and relaxation if that's what you choose. We (along with most) travel a lot and the customer service isn't always the best so the service along with the pure hearts and amount of comfort and genuine gratitude that you get from staff here is unmatched. My husband & I had several plans due to us being busy bodies so we encountered the staff many times and I have to tell ya I feel like I made friends. Outside of the hotel being nice, the staff being amazing, the location to get to Oistins area & St Lawrence Gap is especially nice and the valued price that you get makes this place a no brainer. I wanna give a few shout outs to the most amazing people that shared their beautiful culture and gracious souls with us that made us feel most welcomed...Charlene Hall(operations Manager), Drexel, Michael, & Bahggio ( the spelling might be wrong) you guys are our new Bajan friends. Much Love

Great property and fairly new, I believe less than 2 years or so. The suite was amazing, 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious living room as well. The beach behind the property is not really one to lounge and swim in. We had to drive about 15 mins or so to get the beach experience. Only one restaurant on site, luckily the food was great lol. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Only downside is that you have to drive everywhere since the resort is secluded and away from the “tourist area”. Still would recommend and will stay here again.
