This was our first time staying in Barbados and at the hotel. We had a 1-bedroom Queen suite with ocean view. Very spacious, well equipped and fabulous view overlooking the pool and ocean. Plenty of sun beds available every day; parking for our vehicle; and some great restaurants all within a short walking distance. Staff were great and we would definitely return to The South Gap.

My wife and I enjoyed out three nights at South Gap. There are resorts on Barbados that cost about twice as much per night, and honestly, I thought South Gap was just about as nice. I liked that it was not overly big, and boisterous. The street in front is very lively in the evening, but the rooms are quiet. I like the balcony overlooking the ocean, and the meals were good.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I actually stayed in the same exact room on the second trip as the first one. Happy to see South Gap Hotel didn’t have too manage damage from the hurricane. I realized a few changes to the deck but nothing out of the way. Service from the kitchen and bar excellent as always. Workers are always attentive and engaging. Everything worked out smoothly. Will highly recommend and hope to be back again.

Great location in the St Lawrence Gap. Hôtel is in great condition, we loved the view. Beach is just 5-10 min walk. Just a small complain on a weird smell from the bathroom piping, it might have been a room issue. Happy with the stay.

Fantastic South Gap
Had a fantastic stay. Stunning hotel, beautiful room with incredible ocean view. All staff were amazing. Stayed knowing that pool deck and restaurant were closed for complete renovation following hurricane Beryl so obviously didn’t experience what will be an incredible space (we were fairly compensated for this). Great progress was being made during our stay. Again, the staff were extremely helpful in view of alternative arrangements. Returned home yesterday and already looking to rebook. Thank you South Gap Hotel 😊
