"Great resort in a fantastic location. Staff are very friendly and any issues were dealt with expeditiously. Food options were decent. Not great. Service was a bit slow. Great area of the beach to walk or just sit and relax. WiFi not great. Gym not great but there is a good one across the street at a reasonable price. "Hidden Gem is a perfect place to relax and just hang by the pool, or recline on the deck facing the ocean. It is not a place where you can step out the door and be on the beach or at a restaurant. "It is a wonderful property, the rooms are very stylish and the staff are wonderful. We used the beach club card to access the pool on the seafront which had a great bar and facilities. You may need to get a cab back at night if you’re eating out … it’s a very dark walk back to the resort. "

Nice Chilled Stay

"We had a lovely relaxing stay. The property was nice, spacious and comfortable. It was well maintained and larger than the pictures suggest. The top balcony was great for relaxing with a drink and a book.We had a hire car for our stay and the access was easy but secure - parking was never a problem."

"The staff was very warm, friendly, helpful, and professional and not intrusive. The food was plentiful and delicious. I loved my ocean-front room mainly because I love how the waves sounded crashing against the rocks at night. I also felt very safe there. Although the majority of tourists at the resort were much older, coupled, and from the UK, I, as a young, single, black female from the Caribbean, felt very comfortable there. I stayed 4 days there. If you are introverted and looking for peace and a place to rest and refresh yourself, this is it. "

Wow Amazing

"On the beach quite amazing. Yoga 15 min walk amazing studio Shops and large fab supermarket 30 min walk or 2 fun 4 min frequent bus ride, Great beach can be hard to swim if Sea Swell but then you wake up and go to sleep to sounds of the ocean waves so great either way/ We stayed a few eeks as over 50;s fDigital Nomads and loved it here as easy to shop cook and work form home in great location. Teresa House keeper very helpful even had computer monitor delivered to the door. thank you to her and Franlyn for allowing us to stay in his home from home. Love the Cricket books Stay safe and Happy to all furure guests that stay A&Ax"

Wonderful place on Barbados coast

"We had a wonderful stay at Birdsong! Lorraine was a fantastic host! The apartment was perfect for our family, and close to so many things on Barbados west coast. We enjoyed all the plants and flowers that Lorraine tends, and frequent visits from Bean the cat and daily visits from Elvis the hummingbird were welcome. I definitely recommend Birdsong for its cleanliness and proximity to so many things to do. "
