A packed agenda during the day, relaxing together cooking regional dishes in the evening, then games in the cellar in the later evening. When I managed to reach the responsible person, they sounded frustrated on the phone, as if it was my fault they hadn't fulfilled their responsibilities properly The advertisement was ambiguous, and I wasn't aware that the bathroom was separate. Additionally, the room wasn't clean, and the towels provided were dirty, so I had to get my own. The heating wasn't functioning, and it was uncomfortably cold. "Beautiful lodge in a fantastic spot right on the east durham coastal path with fabulous views. The lodge was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need a real home from home. Lovely furniture on the decking to sit and eat, dolphin spot or just watch the world go by!"
