"Excellent Hotel - we were there as we were attending a family funeral - to say we are a bit alternative as a family is probably an understatement however particularly the gentleman who manned the front desk took this in his stride - we were treated like VIP's and will definitely return to this idyllic hotel. "The property is just a few minutes walk from Chester station and about 10 minutes from the city centre. We stayed in a small double en-suite room which was functional and had some nice extras such as tea and coffee, shampoo and shower gel and an ironing board with iron. I did need to contact the property to provide ID - they’d sent instructions via Expedia but there was no way for me to send a photo of my ID to them. "The rooms were a good size, clean and with good facilities. The bed was large and comfortable, bathroom spacious and clean, hotel staff so polite, helpful and welcoming. Parking no problem and bus service into anfield opposite hotel. Good breakfast on offer too. Definitely stay again."

Wonderful stay

"We had a wonderful stay here on our recent weekend break to Liverpool. Check in/out was quick and easy. Room was tidy and clean. Top up of water and biscuits was very much appreciated. Staff really helpful- we were attending a football match up at Anfield but had no idea on the easiest way to get there. The lovely gentleman at reception gave us great advice and directions. We would definitely stay again."
