"This is a "bait and switch" scam. The accomadation we were offered was nothing like what we booked. The host lied about it being the same as the photos but it wasn't even close. We did not stay and would highly recommend you look for an alternative with an honest host!"

"Cleanliness is an issue. When we checked in, bedsheets were dirty. Hot water also cannot be sustained. There were also ants around the sink area. After they cleaned consistently every day, our experience was much better. You pay for what you get. "

"First thing is that the location of this property is amazing. There is a lot of things around there. The most important thing was I got sent to the wrong building then they booked a new grab for them to take me to the correct building. Once I got into the home the home was not clean at all. The restroom had mold all over. No towels no toilet paper. The couch walls and floor just looked old and dirty. To top it all off. "We would strongly recommend staying at this hotel!! My husband and I loved our time here. All of the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have anything you need and answer any questions you might have! Such great customer service including the airport transfer. Thank you to Sofia and Ken for making our transfer as smooth as possible as our flight was delayed multiple times. They communicated through WhatsApp and ensured our ride was waiting for us when we finally arrived at the airport in Hanoi. We were also offered a free room upgrade and they moved our bags for us while we explored the city. The hotel is in a great location in the old quarter within walking distance of attractions including train street. There is also a great free breakfast buffet with a menu you can order off to have your meal prepared by a chef if preferred. Thank you for the unbelievable customer service and for making our stay very memorable 🙏"

"We had an incredible stay at JM Marvel in Hanoi! The staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. I had mentioned in passing that my partner was feeling unwell and checked in with us throughout if she needed anything—such a thoughtful touch. Ny who was our main contact point was amazing. He was super communicative and went out of his way to help us explore the city, giving us great recommendations and even helping us book a vehicle to get to the airport. It made everything so much easier and stress-free. I wish I remembered everyone's names.. but Ny's male colleague with the glasses was also a very helpful person. I also appreciated the kind young women in the morning who were attentive and asking us if we needed anything on the way out of the hotel in the morning. This level of care and attention to detail is what sets JM Marvel apart. I can't say enough, highly recommend staying here if you want exceptional service in Hanoi! My partner and I can't really imagine staying anywhere else here."
