"Older motel, clean and neat outside. Ample parking. Room had a fun and well done western theme. Room very clean especially bathroom. Nice bed. Not fancy, not a corporate copycat, just an affordable place to send a night."

"Rooms were clean. Sofa bed mattress needs replacement. Queen beds were exceptionally comfortable!! Rooms were well equipped with towels and bedding - suite was cozy and my family loved being downtown! Hot breakfast was good, but facility lacked sufficient help to manage to keep up with the front desk, preparing food and keeping coffee pot full. Even just 2 staff members (they had one) would have helped manage the complimentary breakfast included in the stay. The single staff worker might have...

"The room was teeny tiny and not at all what the pictures looked like. It was old and needed more upgrades - especially in the bathroom. I accidentally left a pair of my shoes and called about it, but they said they couldn't find them. I have a hunch that the maid has a new pair of shoes. If said pair of shoes show up afterall, i will revise this part of my review. Also parking lot super small and hard to get in and out of. "

"We were greeted by an individual whose first words to us were you didn't pay enough but that is ok because your TV does not work. Then I was told that my amount owed was $30 less than what I already paid. When we went up to the room it was old, dirty not well kept, nor was it safe. The shower current was what appeared to be a Dollar Tree Liner (looked like a garbage bag) there were old tattered towels. "Peaceful "

"It is a lovely area and the two towns of Nevada city and grass Valley are so fun to visit. The three people that we met at the check-in desk were so kind and full of great idea ideas of where to eat in the area and how to get to the evening Christmas market. This is definitely a dog lovers hotel. Unfortunately, our room although spacious reeked of dog smells."
