"The Don Miguel hotel is HUGE! It's a large, sprawling hotel that needs a bit of renovation, but is in a great location, with the entrance being on the corner of a main road. It is very close to the Yumbo Centre and all the fun that entails, as well as being opposite a small if expensive supermarket. The staff here are amazing! Everyone greeted you with a smile and that made a huge difference to me. The receptionist even called my transfer company for me and made sure that my airport pick-up was...

"We had a great stay at the Gran Canaria Princess resort hotel. Defintely do the all inclusive - the food put out was different everyday and was often themed (mexican, asian etc) with plenty of other choices- the drinks included in the all inclusive were pretty good - beer, wine, prosecco, sangria all on tap or readily available to order as well as all the spirits and mixers. Apparently the all inclusive plus options gets you better top shelf spirits and drinks but the drinks poured in our all...

"Good stay in general, but had to buy washing up liquid, soap. The beds were comfortable, but there is an extra cost for aircon, sunbeds, umbrellas for the pool and wifi. Breakfast was excellent. Perfectly located if you dont want to be in crowded places, also a best point for us was the local buses system, we didnt see the need of a car, as the local buses are so efficient and cheap to visit the other beaches and towns. Bus stop is 2 min walk from the apart/hotel."

"This property is in dire need of a good make over. Electrics needs to be looked at as kept tripping. Balcony needs updated. Kitchen was poor with crockery and glasses on shelves. Cutlery just lying out on worktop. Main door looks like it had been kicked in as the framework was damaged along with the letterbox. The only nice thing was the bathroom. I would not go back and would not recommend it."
